About Via Vita Yoga
Kat Parks, E-RYT200 created Via Vita with her husband Dr. Ryan Iskenderian, DC. We opened our doors in February of 2015, and have loved sharing the joy of yoga with the town of Sequim, WA. We are grateful to have been voted Sequim's Best Yoga Studio in 2016, 2018, AND 2019! In September 2019, we followed our hearts to the warmth of Arizona. Please see our FAQ page for more information!
We are committed to sharing the wisdom and joy of yoga in a safe and nurturing atmosphere in order to bring greater health, happiness and well being into the lives of those in our community and the world at large. We strive to impart this sacred knowledge in the spirit of positivity, love, and transformation. We share a vision of higher states of consciousness and embrace the path of self-realization.

OWNER & YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Kat Parks Iskenderian is a certified yoga instructor with 6 years and over 1,500 hours of teaching experience. With an extensive background in dance as an adolescent, three years of cheerleading in high school, and over ten years of personal yoga practice, it was a very natural step for Kat to progress into teaching as a certified yoga instructor after graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Chapman University in Orange County, California.
Born and raised in Miami, FL, Kat absolutely LOVES the sunshine and is currently thriving in her new home in Scottsdale, AZ. Kat’s immediate family lives in Sequim, WA, where Kat and her husband Dr. Ryan Iskenderian owned and operated their own wellness center and yoga studio (Via Vita Chiropractic & Wellness) for five years before moving to the desert.
The clarity and joy that yoga and positive thinking has brought to Kat's life is her main passion that she hopes to share with as many students as possible. Kat’s primary style of yoga is based on a background in Vinyasa flow, and she teaches classes that are both challenging and empowering in a supportive space, with appropriate modifications for all levels of practitioners. She has a strong desire to share the extraordinary effects of both yoga and positivity on body, mind, and spirit, while inviting her students to breathe, self-reflect, and smile.
