Via Vita Yoga

Studio Rules & Etiquette

We are so excited to be your Sequim yoga studio, and for you to be a part of our Via Vita Yoga family! This is YOUR space--an oasis where you can relax, take off your shoes, and enjoy yourself!

To create a peaceful and joyous environment for you and your fellow yogis, we kindly ask that everyone follow these simple principles:

Studio Etiquette

  • Be Fresh. Please refrain from wearing perfumes or scented body lotion to class as others may be sensitive!

  • Be Clean. Obtain the props you need before class starts, and neatly replace them after class. If you borrow a mat, please spray and wipe it down after class.

  • Be Peaceful. Turn off your cell phone and electronic devices when you arrive. All personal belongings other than practice gear must be stored outside of the studio. We lock the door during class to protect you and your belongings.

  • Be Respectful. As we practice with others, be mindful and aware of the energy you pass onto those around you.

Reservations

  • There is room for 10 yoga students in the Via Vita studio to practice comfortably. We do not believe in the squished and cramped studio atmosphere, so don’t worry--you won’t find that here!

  • Reservation window closes 3 hours before class time. Feel free to inquire about space in class up until class time. (p.s. You can reserve spots for classes up to 3 MONTHS in advance!)

  • If you make a reservation for a class, your spot is guaranteed, up until the start of class. At which time, your spot may be given away to another student on the waitlist. If you do not show up for a reservation without prior notification, your reservation privileges may be revoked. ← but we don’t like to do that, so just show up when you say you’re going to, okay?

  • Reservations are NOT required, but encouraged in order to make sure we have space for you! You can reserve a space by clicking on the class you'd like to attend on the Classes tab and following the prompts through Wellness Living. Please note that Wellness Living also has a mobile app (called Wellness Living Achieve) that is super easy to use!

  • We also have a cancellation window that closes 3 hours before class time. If you know that you will not be able to make it to class, please let us know sooner rather than later, or you may end up with a class charge on your account. Same goes for No Shows!! Please honor the reservations you make!

Arrivals

  • ALL students are encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of class time to ensure space, and to find peace in the studio. ← even if you have a reservation, as a courtesy to those who may be on the waitlist.

  • Late arrivals will NOT be allowed in, as this is disrespectful to other students. Please be aware of the time that class starts, and make sure that you can arrive on time.

  • Please note that we lock the front door during class time, to protect our students and their belongings.

  • New students MUST arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of class time to sign the liability waiver and get acquainted with the studio.

  • New students who arrive any less than 5 minutes prior to the start of class time will not be allowed in. ← seriously, don’t make us do that--just come early!
